Why We’re Sharing This:

Housing discrimination persists in modern forms — from appraisal bias to lending discrimination — that continue to limit wealth-building for Black families. This interview surfaces contemporary discrimination practices alongside strategies for identifying and combating them. RVA Rising recognizes that expanding economic mobility means addressing active barriers, not just historical ones. By equipping our region with knowledge about current discrimination and tools to fight back, we strengthen the foundation for equitable homeownership and intergenerational wealth.
